Just replaced all the lights on the front of my 99 Denali with DEPO turn signals and headlights. I assume the two star things on top of the lights are how you adjust them, but when I turn them nothing seems to happen. Is there a trick to this or am I just not doing it right?

The adjusters could be broken or maxed out one way. I'd pull them out and double check to see if they work

X2, they may be broken, pull them out and check while they are out of the truck to ensure they are actually moving with the adjustment.

I ended up figuring out what was wrong, the one bulb wasn't all the way in the housing. Not sure how it came out lol. The difference is amazing at night, especially with my SilverStar Ultra's.

you think those are good you ought to try hids.

I had HID's and I had too many problems with them. I had them working for about 3 months and then after that it went from 1 headlight working to none. I tried everything to try to get them to work and I couldn't fix it so I just pulled them out.

unknown at this time.
you sure those were the adjustment screws and not the retention bolts the hold the housing to the bracket? Horizontal and vertical aiming of each headlamp assembly is done by two adjusting screws. The screws are located within the radiator support, and are not easily seen. Two holes in the radiator support for each headlamp assembly provide access to the recessed adjusting screws .Turn the screws using a T15 torx head bit. I know you have it fixed now but though it might help in the future.

I'm positive it was the adjusting screws. I know which is which. I figured it out now
