I think the next best option would be to put a toggle switch on the DRL fuse and wire it up under the dash somewhere easy to access, you could try removing the fuse first to see if you get the results you want, it may or may not affect the other lights not sure. worth a try

Absolutely one great idea! :)

Or if I lift the pad on the dashboard and lose one connection on the sensor? Now I don't know how it works but seems most likely that current runs in it when it's dark and light break the connection.
If so it's kinda easy. :)

Thanks again. Glad for all the help I get. :)

That would be a bit tricky you would have to access it from underneath by removing the radio, also keep in mind that sensor has dual purpose it also works as part of the hvac system I believe it has 4 wires, it is also known as a "sun sensor"

Did yesterday take out the fuse for the DRL if it would turn off the automatic headlights but it seems like those functions runs totally separately.
So no luck there. :D

Must look for a wiring diagram how the wiring works. :)

if the DRL fuse didn't work, then you can just run a toggle switch to the headlight low beam fuse (s) or to the wire ground wire behind the headlight housings, it's a common ground pretty easy to do. each low beam headlight has 3 wires 2 will be power and 1 will be ground. just run the 1 toggle switch to the ground wire on each side, you can run them together on one switch.
