Driving above 110 mph. Going straight..... dry roadway..... smooth surface..... a flat road....

Yea.... OK....sometimes....
But.... an animal runs out ahead..... debris on the lane..... road raises up or down.....
any slight curve close ahead...... the crown of the road changes a bit.... Not OK....

Our trucks are not built for a higher speed. The suspensions are not even CLOSE to handle a problem.

The geometry is not in the suspension design.... well,... not from the factory....
If your ride is slammed, with a custom tuned suspension / front / rear alignment / cast/camber....firm sidewalls and very neat shocks....... Maybe....... But still not that reliable for that sort of maneuver,if were asked by your truck.. Consider the weight of the truck.

Let alone if you have not been professionally trained ' high performance driving'......
( If you were trained as a high performance driver....... You would know to NOT drive that way in a truck on a public road )

Just be careful driving faster than you usually do. There will be no TIME to correct a problem or mistake !!

Note : From my driving school experience..... "high performance" is what we teached your BRAIN....... It's not about going "fast".

Considering who you might be I'm not worried. You don't know me, who I am, what I have done etc. The police tahoe has been tested be the best for what it is. There is a reason the upfitter did what they did to it. How's this you drive to the limit of what you know and allow others to drive to there limit of what they know. I can handle full automatic weapons. Now not knowing who you are I would never come close to saying full automatic weapons in the hands of anyone is stupid. Please be more considerate to all of us.

In other words stay in your lane.

Nope I had new u joints installed and driveshaft balanced last year just in case

cool, i only worry about driveshaft after seeing trucks on dynos ;)
some of the stock GM shafts seem janky.
im looking to add some more HP to my burb... so an HD driveshaft is next on the list, before more mods.

sounds fun

not worried about the driveshaft having issues?
No never really came to mind, I've driven for many many many miles that way, I've been more concerned with the tires being the correct rating than anything else.
speeding is a really bad habit, I've been doing it since I was able to drive, I have rolled trucks, played pinball with them. I don't recommend doing it you can put your life and other peoples life in danger. My Father say's it's his fault I am this way we used to race in the Desert and have a 4wd club I was raised around it, doesn't scare me, my step father was legally blind and drove like a mad man, my mom would drink, smoke, put on make up and drive with her knees. A few things scare me like 1000ft drop off's and people moving into my lane when there right next to me.

I have driven a lot of vehicles into the ground that was supposed to be built for police and special people. The only one I have driven hard and has not disappointed me one bit is the police ppv tahoe. Anything I need done to it chevy does for me. This is the one vehicle I will let chevy work on because they keep it in the spec that the outfitter had. The only thing I changed was I went with ceramic brake pads. The truck out drives me. It's the one vehicle that I can get in knowing that it will take all the abuse I give it and will stay together every day. No the drive shaft thing. I know a guy here in town that d builds rock solid specialty tribe shafts. Everytime I chang out u joints he balances it for me for free. I change out u joints around every 60k. Even if it doesn't need it. Knowing I have new hardware on my hoe makes me more confident in her.
Tires yes you need good ones. That's why I went with falken tires. When looking for a replacement for the Firestone because of the high price tag. Falken engineer told me they have a tire that meets and exceeds the firestone tire. They just didn't get the contract. They are rated to 160 mph for 1 hr at $160 per tire. If and when you need a plug or tire fix put on a new one. Holes in tires compromise the high speed rating.

Not a PPV here, but rolled mine up to 110 to see how it felt, surprisingly it was like driving 70... The Burb is planted, the wheelbase I think really helps out for sure. 120 would be about the most I would probably go at this point in my life, Old days I would stay in it to win it... Age comes wisdom.... Thank god I am getting older... May last a few more years with my slowing down..... Maybe not. These are well build rides for sure... Know your limitations, don't be stupid and take someone else with you to the side of no return.

Thought they were governed at 100-110--on the factory tune.
