what happens when it goes out? sometimes my hoe jerks to the left when im driving straight. i replaced my balljoints and arms.

That's supposed to be a symptom of an erratic steering sensor / EVO system.

You can reach under the dash for a wire harness connected near the bottom of the column and disconnect it and see if the jerk goes away. The steering controller should stay in EZ mode when disconnected.

No problems with that since Ive owned my hoe. when I got it the steering was all jacked up did ball joints and arms. My steering is still a little lose and I have a power steering leak but it drives perfectly straight.

hmmm, i wonder if i should get mine checked then.
at the same time, my steering feels just like my dad's 96 S-10 Blazer did back in 2005, both in the city and highway, so i'm guessing there's nothing wrong with mine either.
