How many Hours are on your Tahoe?

I was just reading the owners manual and had seen that our trucks come with an hour meter. I used to run equipment for a living and always wondered how many hours would equal how many miles. To get to the hour meter turn the key off and hold the trip reset for about 5 seconds. So lets see how many how many hours and miles you all got on your truck.

hours- 4365.0
miles- 118,257

It isn't an exact so many hours equal so many miles, if you let your car run without it actually moving then the hour meter will count.

Sorry, I did not realize there was a thread on this. I searched hours and went back a couple pages and did not find it. I know that hours and mileage do not reflect each other but I was looking to average them out over a couple of people to get a more accurate reflection, but it seems like people were having their counters reset anyways so it would not be accurate.

I have been told that GM's hour meters are next to worthless. Mine averages out to something like 69 MPH which I find hard to believe.

I have a 2001 Suburban LT with 7755.3 hours and 173563 miles. The only time the truck idles is in the winter when it gets the 5.3 knock when it's cold.

I have 600 hours and 137k mi. I'm not sure how that happened. I bought it used las August with 96k miles but I noticed the hours had been reset to zero.
