How many hours does it take to swap out front and rear shocks/struts from a 2010 Escalade?

I would imagine that a good mechanic could do it in under an hour.
It is a simple job.
I guess it all depends on how many beers you drink before....and during install.

2-3 hours

Is that by the book? My mechanic charged me 300$ installing my own parts. I went with the Arnott-Billsteins and so far very happy! Especially with the lifetime warranty.....

So book is even more I have to assume? Being I brought my own parts to be installed I think I did ok. Rite?

I am not sure what GM allocates time wise for the job. Considering you either didn't have the tools, knowledge or time to complete the job $300 seems fair. Personally I would probably charge someone $200-$250.
