I run 24's and I always take my rims off in the winter. I drive up to Tahoe to go snowboarding and during the rainy season there are tons of potholes. We drove down to Disneyland last September and I took my rims off for that trip and just left them off for the rest of the winter. Finally put them back on in April.

I wouldn't take 'em off. Those 2 flats might have saved your life. You just never know. Do what you feel, but don't let "maybe" scare you!

Last July about 3000 mile round trip on my 22's. Illlinois to Florida and back. On the way back, towed a 3000 lb trailer. My brother in law's uncled drives up from Texas twice a year with his Escalade on 24's. No problems. Hey people get flats on stock tires all the time. Sometimes its just bad luck.

I go from el paso, tx to killeen, tx all the time 1200 miles round trip with my 24s and drop.
