How much do you Tow? - 2015 Tahoe

Hey all! First post here.

Curious as to how much weight you will actually tow with your 2015 Tahoe LT?

I know it's rated at 6400-6600 pounds so curious what you guys are actually pulling. Thanks!

We have a Passport Ultralight loaded just under 6500lbs, pulling with YUKON XL with max trailer pack rated for 8k.

My xl tows a 20ft featherlite aluminum trailer with a 3300 lb race car.

I'm towing close to 8K boat, gear and peeps...

I tow a small snowmobile trailer.
Not a lot of weight, but a lot of wind resistance. It pulls fine but drops me from 15 mpg to 7 mpg on my 2002.

Hoping the 2014 I picked up this year will do a little better.

... although I am curious what is happening to others mpg when towing. Hard to think this thing cuts mine in half.

I pull this 272 with my 2015 Yukon when we head to the lake. Couldn't find a pick hooked to the Yukon.
Boat and gear are close the the #8300 tow rating.

Jedi mind trick: this is not the year you are looking for.....
Stopped at a truck stop scale. Steer axle was the Z and the drive axle was the trailer

I was always curious, didn't know it was as cheap as 11 bucks.
And just looked up CAT Scales, they have about 10 million locations...

Yea, those things are about as popular as mosquitoes. Pretty much any truck stop has them.... flying J, pilot, loves, TA etc
