So I go out to warm the truck up this morning so I can take kids to school (They wine because of the cold leather, sissys... LOL) like I do every morning. Come out with kids and look at truck and the windows are still glazed over (Getting cold in Ohio)!! Open the door and notice the blower isn't running, on any speeds?? And as I am driving I swear I am smelling wires burning but it was very faint and no smoke that I could see. Get back home and start taking things apart and this is what I see. Turns out somehow the ground plug "fell off" the blower motor and grounded out on the positive on the blower motor!! No blown fuse(s), just melted it like this. I got lucky it didn't take the whole truck up, and will listen to my gut moving forward for sure!!! And btw, it has a fuse at the blower motor also, so I know this wont happen again!!! Just a rant on how my day started, it was freaking cold, and 3 boys in the truck kept the windows nice and fogged up because they were cold!!!
