How often do you go WOT aka "Italian tune up"?

Suburban. Whipple, straight piped, 3k stall, 4.11s.

I don't think I can win from a dig just cause of the inertia to move 6k lbs that fast but rolling at 40-60mph I am good to go.

I got a bus length+ put on me by a Durango Hellcat once from a 20mph roll, so I know my limitations. There's a big drop off from 500HP to 700+hp.

The straight line speed is fun but I'd rather be out on the road course. Pulling up to AutoX events in a full size SUV turns more heads than a McLaren. They only take me serious when I am not the slowest guy on the track.
Very cool, don’t see that everyday!

I've got a couple local guys with Hellcat Durangos here in the area, one guy was more than happy to show his off, took me out for a few pulls...don't get me wrong I'd love to supercharge the Suburban, but that Durango is so low, so planted and those seats are so heavily padded and bolstered that it inspires a level of confidence that I don't think the Suburban is capable to offering on tarmac.

Bet it'd be cheaper to lower the Suburban, install better padded & bolstered seats, and supercharge a GM 6.2L,
than to buy a 6.2L HellCat Durango or Grand Cherokee.

Absolutely! But which one will be worth more $$ in the end?
Whichever one has less rust and better long-term reliability / durability.
True, Suburbans are much tougher to sell in NYC due to their sheer length vs NYC parallel parking,
but in most of America (including NYC), Durangos & Grand Cherokees simply do not last as long as bubbas.

(Also, I've no clue how to '2500' a Durango or a Grand Cherokee,
but a 1500 Suburban is much easier - and cheaper - to get closer to '2500' status, compared to a Durango / Grand Cherokee.)

Ya, still cracks me up about one of the stupidest things I have managed to do without dire reaults
My wife ran over a stop sign, too, and the only way that I know that she did, is because I actually saw her do it. LOL (She'd NEVER admit to doing that.)

Amazing enough, there was only 1 very minor scratch on the front bumper.

When she gets on my about my speed or tight handling, I simply respond, "Well, at least I didn't murder an innocent Stop sign."

In her defense, if the 'Stop' sign could have feasibly been a 'Yield' sign,
then that 'Stop' sign was arbitrary or capricious, maybe both - NOT innocent.
So, send her my thanks and appreciation.
