You think all white will look off? I have never seen it, so pretty hesitant to get done like that. But..... I also don't use them for intended purpose, so "think" it might all just flow as a "side skirt" kinda look. IDK?????? still so up in the air on this one

But trick28, lets say on your ride was reverse color, and you wanted to color match running boards with the orange. Would you keep middle black? Or go full color to match? And kinda not fair tho, since the black would blend with black on truck.

i saw one guy on here and he had everything white including where the chrome is on the bumpers and had the steps like that and i said hell no... way too much white. i would want the black to break it up some. but im going with a white with black accents theme.
My ride is the white one.

The white may look great on it. Id personally keep it black. Gives it some contrast. Yes id keep mine black.

Decisions decisions. lol

Can you find that ride with all white boards? I have googled and searched and can't find a pic for reference. I am kinda on same page, could be TOO much, but different strokes for different folks ya know. Really want to see what it looks like tho. I had a white w/black accent going on, but kinda flipped the script, so..... idk, f@@king hate these kind of decisions that could really end up looking bad.

May just do all white, then like you said, paint black if TOO much and doesn't look right or sand or add black some how to break it up.

I JUST DON'T KNOW!!!!!!!:emotions122: and getting done in a few hours

I like the contrast difference for sure. But since changed the wheels, has kinda changed the look. And think the stock black running boards get lost now, not so flowing IMO. And seems unfinished. Not that I hated em, just didn't run with all white look, with the billet wheels now.

Will post pics up for sure, and get barraged for my decision. :idiot: haha, jk, good to get others opinions, good, bad or indifferent.

I'd personally paint them white and leave the steps black plastic. To prep those steps and paint them is a biotch (Im a painter, I've Done them before).

Leaving the steps black plastic allows you to keep functionality of them and also adds some contrast.

I'm doing something similar with my truck (SS conversion) and painting the running boards black to match the truck but leaving the steps bare.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
