damn you!! I was hoping for a more blatant beat down!! lol.

Ya know, I am looking at it like everyone else for the first time, since haven't seen it done. Had No clue what to expect, and still not sure I REALLY like it or not. It's just different right now, we'll see tho...

BUT...... more to come for sure

lol nah man. I was the same way when i first put my roll pan on. I liked it then didnt so i took it off. One day decided to put it back on and its been on ever since.

Looks good. Personally I would paint the pads. Give it a little contrast and would almost look like a Denali running board...kinda like a factory option

WOOOOOOOWeeeeeeeeeee! Critics are "going HARD in the paint"!

Now about that SS bumper. I remember when a guy in our club put one on his S-dime and he got SHIT for 6 months for doing that. I was cracking up on how the ballbreaking was so bad he took it off..... F*&k that homie! At the end of the day....YOU roll what you wanna roll. Theres things about your truck I like and things I dont like, but thats why we are all here, OPINIONS,IDEAS,SHOWOFF'S and what nots. Now that the pep talk is done.... Hey,do you base coat/clear when you pant or rattle can?

Oh and I heard WIZ Khalifas new song last night!!!!
"Yeah, ah huh...white and white, white and white, white and white, white and white...everything I do is BIG"!!! LMAO:happy175::happy175::happy175::laughing1: :laughing1:

^ Yuko04 you just put a smile on my face bro!! ***** hilarious. :)
my wife was telling me about that song yesterday, that's funny!!! sorry, guys stupid. hahahahahahahaha:hands:

My neighbor owns a body n paint business, so he did my paint. NOT RATTLE CAN'D! I know he used some paint adhesion product for plastics, he swears by it. Also, primer, 4 coats of paint, 4 coats of clear. Shoulda done more probably since running boards, but will see how it holds up. I was talking with him yesterday about paint being brighter on boards compared to body. Just how it happens with textured plastic, I did not want to sand them down. TOO MUCH WORK!! lol. Makes sense, my rear bumper pads look exactly the same, n another company painted those. He said he would add yellow n the paint to blend it in if I wanted. so.... will give it a few n see if it bothers me enough. Probably should tho since EVERYBODY noticed it, jk guys all good.
I am gonna have him re paint some other stuff that needs touching up after years of AZ sun n sand.

I do think an SS bumper may, I say may, go better with how it looks now. Idk, i'm still taking this whole new look in, trying to figure out how to pull it all together.

Just giving ya shit. ya, you think u like it one day, next day u hate it, few months it's back on. Finding what works. I feel ya.

I am supposed to be picking up an SS bumper today, so we'll see. But if it comes thru, may be what's needed. Or not?? we'll see I guess, kinda like the boards, just don't know till it's on how it's gonna look.

Thought you'd like that:Big Laugh:!

I was hoping it was done base/coat clear. I paint on the side,so I know the last thing you want to use on plastic that is going to be constantly touched or stepped on is rattle can paint. Your color will also blend once it is out in the UV's for a while(dont go buffing:buffer: that plastic). Truck is looking good.....countinue the good work! I am on the hunt for a HD hood. The guy that taught me how to paint can get OEM HD Hood for $223 shipped. The company that makes them for Chevy is 3hrs away from me... After seeing your hood and talking to some of the YUKON guy's...I think Imma pull the plug and do it:party36:

honestly man, maybe my eyes are bad or something lol, but i dont mind the white boards. kind of looks like side skirts from a far.. the hd hood is def a plus as well.. i would however change the bumper lights for ones with out the amber in them. that orange tint throws me way off, and def get rid of the chrome on the bumpers.. but who am i to talk lol, ive been needing to that for a while, just havent had the time to mod lately...

I picked up an SS front bumper cover today!! :rocking: I need to sand, prep and paint it, but got hooked up. Talked with my painter about getting it done, so hopefully in the next week or two I can have it painted n installed.

Right on! ya alot has been done in the past few Weeks. Hopefully can get to the point.were I'm happy with exterior.

You need to swoop up on that HD hood tho Jonas. Shit looks tight on Yukons, just cool cause it's not bolt on, u actually have to mod it to fit.

I need to sell my damn cowl hood now!!!

That SS bumper will set it off ;)

This G.D. HD Hood mod is spreading like wildfire---might have to move this mod to the top of the list. Just have to find a decent body shop to do the custom work for the edges.......
