Any advice on replacing the stepper motors that run the gauges? I been trying to find a write up or something on here on doing it, but haven't had any luck.... Also I noticed in the pic of the red LED conversion the trans position indicator is dimmer than the DIC. Mine is the same way. Is there a way to fix that, or is that how they're made?

Of course I did a write up on that. It should be a sticky IMO. Here's the link.

I also have this problem and would like to fix it.. Is this something that can be done?

I have already replaced the bulbs in the cluster so I am experienced at taking it apart.

Instead of plugging the cluster in to use a meter to check polarity just use a 9v battery with the leads off of DMM, i used alligator clips on the end that goes into the DMM, no soldering just get the ones that slide over the tip. Use that to check the polarity of all your LED, Mark them then install one led. Plug it in and see if it works, if it doesnt the LEDd needs to be turned. Now you can use the 9v batteru and touch the original bulbs and if the led lights up then you know which leg is postive and which is negative. I just used the SUPERBRIGHT.com LED neo3-a in the amber color and I hate them, they have hot spots and are really dim going to rip them out asap as soon as I find better ones.
