How to disable the Security Passlock System

What is causing my security light to keep flashing. It's becoming very annoying .. it happens here and there. I have a 1999 Tahoe.

Have you checked your battery? The same thing happened to me and the battery was bad. Took a day or two for it to reset but it fixed it.
