To begin you'll need an SD card formatted in FAT32. I did this on my Mac using the included Disk Utility.
Next you'll need a video and you need to download HandBrake. You can rip a DVD with Handbrake directly to the type of file the car can play or, if you've already got the movie in a digital format, it can be changed to play in the car.
From my exploration it seems like the system wants you to put music files in the front SD slot and video files in the rear SD slot.
