Yea what caused the other one to strip out was the use of the wrench and opposing forces. I mean you're trying to draw the stud in while at the same time trying to use the knurls as a hold down while twisting the lug nut on. Two forces and somethings gonna give.
IMHO, an impact and some air pressure would have made the job go way way easier. But, in a pinch, what are you gonna do.
It would be wise to not drive too far when you reinstall your wheels. Install your wheels then after about a days driving, but no more than 50 miles, check the torque of the lug nuts. Pay special attention to the studs you replaced.
