Just bought the auto cal I drove 30-45 min and recorded the data. I copied the files from the engine but can't figure out how to copy the files for the trans. I tried to email bb directly but wait time is ridiculous for an email reply. You guys should get phone line. At least so the people who spend almost 600 dollars on a tune can get technical support.

Both Jenna and Justin are out of the office until Sept. 3rd which is the cause for the lag in email response time.

I will look into your issue with the files and see if I can't help you out in their absence.

Thanks for your patience!

You should have received an Out of Office reply to your email.

To transfer your TCM files, it is Read 2 (within the Tune file retrieval step in the instructions).

I've recently logged about 30 minutes onto my AutoCal and sent it to Justin. However, I only had one log file and was wondering if I needed to (or could) log TCM data. According to the "Using AutoCal to Data-Log your Vehicle" part of the instructions, it doesn't say anything about logging separate files for the ECM and TCM.

The "Read 2" option Jenna referred to above seems to be the step to retrieve a TCM tune that's already installed. I believe this is how I retrieved my stock tune.

I'm new to this, so I could certainly be confused. If I need to send Justin separate ECM and PCM log files, please let me know how to do that. I think that's what Unlimicon was also trying to determine.

Thank you

There is only one data log type needed. IF we require transmission data when logging, it is often included in that single log file.

So, in short, "Record Data" function will retrieve all driving data (unless otherwise requested) and Read 1 and Read 2 (2007+ vehicles) will collect your OEM tune files.
