I have a write-up somewhere on this forum about jumpering the under hood fuse box. It turns the fogs on with the parking lights and keeps them on when you switch to high beams, but you can't turn off the fogs manually, only drawback.

Do the 'lows' and 'fog' lights stay on when you hit the high beams, and do both come on when you don't have the fog lights on and you hit the high beams? Just curious.

all fine and dandy but won't work for the yukons as the high/low is a single bulb, but you can get a simple device to keep the fogs on either way

the bulb type doesn't matter, unless you are talking about having high & low on together, in which case you would have to do some trickery with the wiring.
the yukons have a dual parabolic reflector housing, so when the bulb is lit up in the back it reflects one way and when it is lit up in front it reflects another way.
I prefer the hid bulbs in the factory housing but there is no "true" dual beam hid bulb, they all move magnetically or the bulb is part hid/incandescent
