So i upgrade my 17" to LTZ 20" and just last night the tire service light came on, how can i fix this service light? Do i need a scanner? Where should i go? Dealer or other mechanic store?

I tried to reset it by unpluging the battery for a minute, but it didnt last so long.

Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Do you have the tmps sensors in your new wheels? Bc you don't light will come on it's a sensor/valve in your tire to read if pressure is low or not if you have one go to a tire shop they have a scanner gun that'll reset it. Otherwise your stuck with light on

He told you to remove them? :badidea: Now you need to take off the rims, dismount the tires and reinstall the sensors! Send him the invoice! lol

I just added new wheels and need to do this too. My onboard display reads check rear wheels (L & R) but it doesn't say to check the fronts....is that weird or is it just me ?

I do this Twice a year where I have to go in and have the Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor change from my stock tires and in the spring for my 23" rims. I had barely enough room to put one in the because I have 305/40/23. If I would have went to 305/35/23 there would have been a no go because my TPMS were 1/32 off of having my monitors work so I have to make sure that I maintain 30PSI or higher or I can end up ruining the TMPS or if I go off-road with it Ill damage it but who in the hell would go off roading in a Denali anyways?
