How to Remove z71 Sub 2nd Row Buckets/Access Trim?

I've looked all over trying to figure out how to remove this little trim piece so I can remove my 2nd row buckets seats, with no luck. Other diagrams and pictures show slight variants. This is on the inside front edge of both seats on my 2005 z71 Suburban.

It "seems" to be connected somehow in the top center, but I cannot find a clip or release.

You just have to pry up on it till it comes off

Man, I was putting a fair amount of pressure on that thing and thought I might damage it if I got any more aggressive. I guess not. Thanks.
