How to replace license plate lights?

I can't figure how the assembly pulls out. I just got new LEDs for it.

Reach under the bumper and remove the bulb from behind. I don't think the bulb housing can come off.

Mine have been out for 2-3 years. I just cant get to them without taking the hitch off

reach u-p and twist the socket and they pul out then

Yeah I have the towing package installed. I took a screw driver down and tried to pop that metal part on the bumper and rip it out that looks like not such a smart idea.

mine were easy to get to, just on either side of the hitch. twist and pull out

Yeah I figured it out. To bad my replacement LED bulbs are two big to fit in there. Gotta go swap em out.

I used 194 but I had square 4LED style ones and now got some 360 degree ones. Not to bright but I ended up breaking the housings for the lights so I gotta order replacements or go to the jy
