Can someone chime in to confirm this?

I just looked where my vac line goes in. It goes straight into the intake manifold towards the back. If it were only connected to 2 of the cylinders your vac pressure would would fluctuate like crazy and it probably would not give you enough vac to even run the brake booster. So as I see it, it is connected to all 8 cylinders.

Yes it has been confirmed by Jim Davis....

1998 Tahoe 5.7 Sea Foam FYI -

You can use Sea Foam as often as you would like because Sea Foam is a petroleum blend with no harsh chemicals. However on that application, a 98 Tahoe with the vortec 5.7 engine with CPI ,the vacuum source on that engine only feeds the back two cylinders. So the other 6 cylinders get no benefit by inducing Sea Foam into a vacuum line.On that engine we recommend only using Sea Foam in the fuel @ 1 oz per gallon. You will get the same benefit to all cylinders using Sea Foam in the fuel and will clean the injectors also when using in the fuel as you drive.

Your welcome Babe!

I make sure I do all my research before posting my write ups! Exspecially Seafoam since its very key to our vechiles due to age. Keep our drivetrains sludge free and tip top shape!

Jim Davis uses it every change. To prevent any future build-up. I am going to do the same.
