How to stiffen suspension/stop swaying?

They do if you're running stock length shocks. Get the McGaughy's shock extenders, they drop the shocks down more than the Belltech ones. If you're only dropped 2/3 with knuckles in the front, get the Bilstein 5100 and use the McGaughy's extenders. If you're dropped more than that use the 4600.
Just got the shocks and installed them it sure did ride all whole lot better and it FIXED The SWAY after replacing the shocks

Glad it's fixed! Good quality shocks make such a huge difference. Most people don't realize shocks are actually a wear item and that they're good as long as they aren't blown.

When I bought my 04 LT last year it already had Bilstein 5100's in the front and 4600's in the back. I dont know how old they are as the truck had several owners. The truck has a bounce but what I dislike the most is the side to side sway on the freeway and over bumps. Its pretty floaty and has a body roll.

The truck has new sway bar end links as well as new inner and outer tie rods and an alignment.

I am right on the brink of needing new tires

Will a new set of 5100's fix this problem? Are there other, smaller suspension parts that would fix the issue before going for new shocks? Thanks.
I like how everybody has an opinion on aftermarket sway bars but nobody has installed any

I beg to differ. I have Hellwig, front and rear, on my 2005 Z71. Have been on since Feb. 2021. See build thread.

Welcome to the forum and pay attention before you make statements like that.

those that have changed/updated/upgraded your sway bars did your version of the GMT800 not have rear bars from the factory???...

I have a 2005 GMC Yukon Denali with front and rear sway bars that I believe are factory installed in my rig...I'm curious if the change to Helwig or another brand sway bar is an improvement or only an incremental upgrade for me...

thanks for any information or experiences you'd care to share...

Factory sway bars are hollow. They are not heavy..... Helwig replacements are a solid 'chrome molly' bar, and yes, they make a difference.
