Yesterday I took my 2011 Tahoe (11k miles) in for service to John Thorton Chevrolet near Atlanta to get the rear passenger window wind noise corrected. It turned out the wind noise was from a previous broken window replaced by Jim Ellis Chevrolet @ 1,100 miles in April 2011 which they also did not vaccum the glass from the bottom of the door which caused a rattle when shut closed.

John Thornton Chevrolet charged me $89 + tax to pop the door panel and vaccum out the glass that the other dealer failed to do. That is poor customer service and I should not have been charged.

Can someone guide me in the right direction to submit a claim to GM.

Thanks
jcs

Let me get this straight.

April 2011 - You took your Tahoe to Jim Ellis to get a broken window replaced.
April/May 2012 - You finally went to John Thornton to fix a problem caused by a repair by a DIFFERENT dealer a YEAR ago.

Mechanics don't work for free. Why should John Thornton fixing a shotty repair made by Jim Ellis fix it for free? If anything, complain about Jim Ellis to GM.

GM recorded record profits this past quarter. Why would you guys wanna jeopardize their chances of the next quarter setting another record profit by insisting they pay for any of this?
