since were on topic of bearings how bout the rear ones?

The rear ones are much more involved, You have to remove the rear diff cover and then remove the center spider gear shaft and then push the axle in and remove the "C" clip holding the axle. remove the tire, caliper, rotor and anything else in the way that will prevent you from pulling the axle out. After the axle is out you remove the seal and then you will see the bearing pressed into the axle housing. you will need a puller to get it out and you can put in a new one with a hammer and a big socket on the outer race of the bearing. Then put your new seal in and just reverse the removal to put it back together.
This is a Quick version.
