Hey guys, figure id share what were doing in the shop the next couple weeks. If you are not aware we here at Carbon Fiber Element specialize in real carbon fiber wrapping. We take an existing piece and do a real cf permanent wrap right onto the surface of the piece. We have just recently finished up an interior for an Escalade and pics were just posted within the last week or so if anyone has seen it. But right now we are working on my own personal vehicle. An 07 Tahoe. I didnt want to go crazy with it when i first got it but of course as things go, i decided to just say F it!! And go all in....So basically we are copying my other car. A full cf widebody TT 350z. Paint will be the same and we are doing front fenders and rear quarters in cf as well, among other things....We started in on this thing last Monday and making good progress. Its tough cuz im trying to make this happen and still keep up with all of our customers jobs too. I figured id make this thread and keep an ongoing build thread with LOTS of pics so you can check it out. INterior is getting done too, trim in cf and im redoing the seats, Just need to finish. Keep in mind, all work is being done in house, cf, paint, everyting!! SO for now here we go....Enjoy and feel free to comment, question or anything.
This is what we're copying....
Started its life a grey color with light grey interior...Doors off ready to do jams and insides of doors...
Front fender stripped and ready for CF....
CF Down....Bare material...
Jams done...
Doors too inside...
Doors getting there....
Paint down....
Doors on, for now.....
Fender just about there....
