Humming sound from DS..

i was coming home from the city today and i was getting this really loud Vibration or Humming sounds from the front Drivers side...it sounds like a Busted Wheel Bearing or 4x4 Locked....i just got my truck checked yesterday and everything in the front end was tight and good to go..It was -5 outside weather when i was coming home..Would anyone know what else i should check out or get checked..After about a half hour,,the noise went away...

my truck is starting to get worse...The noise and vibration is there all the time now..Not sure what is going on with this truck i just bought..real hard vibration and Noise coming from the front end...would someone know what i should be looking at..I just had the wheel bearings checked and they were all good..

I know you said you have the bearings looked at but it sounds like a bearing. When they were 'looked' at what does that mean?

I'd check bearings, ball joints, and make sure the wheel lugs are secure.

i took my truck to the garage last week to get the whole front end checked and they told me that the it was all tight...wheel bearings,,Ball Joints,.Tire Rods..the noise will happen on and off..but mostly on..hard to explain the noise.

The wheel bearing doesn't have to be loose to make worn and making the noise. They need to actually listen to the bearings with a stethescope.
