My rear defrost, does not work, the light on the controller does not light up at all, and with this last bout of winter here in the north i now know for a fact it doesn't work.

most recently (A few hours ago) i went to go install an Aux port, and I thought maybe the connectors in the back of the HVAC unit were loose or damage so i'd disconnect and reconnect well... i went to put everything back together and the whole unit was borked, wouldn't even light up.

I did the re learn with the fuses, and nothing I could only get the air to change velocity and temp, but the physical air location knob was/is till stuck. I panicked, started the truck and then pulled the connection off again, and bam, it lit back up. I did put it together with a little more umph this time, and now i could get it to work although now, if say i leave it on "5" and move it to 4 or 3 it will take a good sec or two to actually change the velocity of the air and vice versa.

Once again, the actuator that controls the blend door doesn't work (I think thats the right terminology). I did the relearn twice both with the fuses and with the battery terminal disconnect and nothing. I couldn't get the blend door to cycle, and now the AC button/air re-circulation doesn't light up or work. I'm leaning that a good bit of the issues has to do with the physical controller being crap since it's beat, and half the lights don't even work.

I checked all the fuses and mind you it did work this afternoon (aside from the rear defrost) but when i took it apart the only the air volume side and hot/cold sliders work and nothing else.

TL;DR Air Volume knob works/Air direction knob does not (Worked earlier) Rear de-frost button doesn't work (Should it light up when not even operational?) Re-learn of the HVAC control didn't do anything. Could the unit be crap? Checked fuses they are good.
