I have a 2000 tahoe (nbs) and I tried to solder in leds for the control cluster. It went horribly wrong and I messed up one of the traces for the lights, and so most of the ones for the knobs didn't work. The buttons on the bottom look great though! lol.
I bought some led strip lights from autozone after being unable to find a new control cluster at the junk yard and have them glued to the plastic behind the faceplate. They look pretty good, and the light is surprisingly evenly spread, so I am ok with this setup. However, the way I have them wired right now, they just say on any time the truck in on. Does anyone know what wire for the ac harness I could tap so that they would come on when the rest of the dash lights come on?
Thanks
