Has anyone used Hyper Dip or Plastic Dip on their black running boards? If so how did it look and how did it hold up? Trying to do something with these faded boards.

Thanks

I had plasti dip on my entire truck, running boards deleted though. It held up like $heet. I ended up repainting proper. I put Raptor liner on lower bits. Looks AWESOME. Although is a SOB to clean up. I use tire shine to clean it. The plasti dip was impoosible to clean up. Although it was put on too thin.

Plastic isn't too hard to paint. You could just paint it no?

I used cerakote on mine and it’s doing well. Bought it after watching it tested on project farm. There’s another youtuber with more products being tested

No way in hell plastidip will hold up on running boards. I've done it several times on wheels, I'll never bother with it again.

I had custom rock sliders made for my Tahoe and we did some kinda rough hard coat... Gatorhyde? Duraliner? Rhinoliner? Something like that... one of the bedliner products, and once we got it put on right, it is obviously permanent and is seriously durable.

The play list won't play. Is it me, or is the play list jacked?
Updated my previous post, if it has anymore trouble the channel is Scott HD, seems to be mostly testing detailing products
