hey everyone, i'm new to the forum. I just recently got a 1999 GMC Yukon as my daily driver. i paid a pretty penny for it (and still am paying), but it's decent all around, and has less than normal mileage for it's age (116k when i bought it in Nov 09 - at 119k now).
I just wanted to say hi cuz i plan to work on this truck myself as much as I can and keep it until it completely rots away (totally possible here in New England LOL). It has a few minor issues right now, but nothing totally urgent - just the usually stuff that crops up around this age for a vechicle (gonna need a new tranny soon, door hinges re-welded, etc).
but ya, i had an '84 Jimmy before this that i fell in love with, and hated to part with, but like momma said "restoring cars is a rich man's game." and unfortunately she was right.

Well this Yukon aint no 80's K5 Jimmy, but it's still great!
and i'm glad to be part of this forum now :-D
