Mikeyss,
Looking good, now to get some more HP out of her..
You can see my mods in my sig, so I won't list them here.. The Nelson Performance Tune is probably close to the BB tune so the following should be close for your Tahoe L9H..
Took the old girl out for a 100 mile Sunday cruise today, down by the water so she could see the Gulf..
Cruising at 70 MPH = 16.6 MPG
75 MPH = 15.6 MPG
80 MPH = 15.1 MPG
Preferred cruise is about 77 MPH which gets me around 15.3 depending on headwind or tailwind..
Someone was saying that the L9H was used in a Denali in the past, but to my knowledge all Denali's had both the VVT & AFM..
The L9H has VVT, but does not have the AFM..
Also someone was asking about plug wires.. I only use the Taylor Part Number 84244 for the 6.2 & 82252 for the 6.0 VorTec Max which has been sold. These are the 8.2mm wires which Taylor recommends over the 10mm as they do the job for $30 bucks less. The Taylor has an extremely low EMI which will not interfere with any of the other electronic stuff our trucks have. Be very aware of the brand of wire you use.. only Taylor & Magnecor have the low EMI. Read this link about wires.. https://www.magnecor.com/magnecor1/truth.htm
You have a very cool vehicle there, I consider these to be the best Grand Touring Sport Utility available.. the new RST will be close, but they also will cost $70K and we already have everything they do..and we do not have the AFM which they will have..
