I didn't get a deal on the tip. But it looks sick installed, so much better than the cheap one I bought previous. So it was definitely worth the price.

Take your molding off then! You can always put it back on or get the newer ones if you don't like it.

I don't know what it looks like underneath, granted i took the badges of my 03 2500hd and as able to polish out the outline....I just don't want it to be too bare though either...

My mechanic just cut the pipe near the hanger and welded it at another angle, then welded the tip on.

I think you can get a kit for it but any competent exhaust shop can do if you tell them where you want the tip.
