Thanks for sharing Wendal. I like the color/grain of the wood they used on the interior. Was the Putco items original or did you add them later? What is the truck originally, an SLT or Denali?

The putco stuff was all stuff I added. It is an SLE, I think. Definitely not a Denali.

Just wondering about the trim level based on some of the Denali features the Regency package included on your truck. My SLT has a Putco chrome cover over the lift gate applique and is starting to bubble. I reckon it's been there since new.

126,***. I have had another vehicle since I've owned it, that I normally drive to work, to keep the miles down. I intend to keep this truck basically until it falls apart, or until I just HAVE to get a new vehicle. My wife and I alternate new cars, and it's my turn, but I want to go a couple of years without a car note first. I also will then likely buy a car, not a truck/suv. So I plan to have this for the foreseeable future.

I finally got to install LED's across the front of the truck. GTR Lighting Headlights and fogs, JDM AStar blinkers, and Sirius LED Park lights.

Resistors also came from Amazon.

I also did the Fog light to DRL wire, as per this thread:

http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/figured-it-out.7997/

I used a 15 amp diode and good gauge wire. I haven't gone back in and looked at it yet, but I will yell if there's an issue.

To wire the resistor on the Yukon, it is as follows: at least on mine (07 SLT), there are 5 wires going into the blinker bulb plug. They are in this order.

Brown, Green, Brown, Black Black. The resistor needs to be wired to the green, and the inside black wire. See photos below. One more thing. Please note where the resistor is mounted. If you mount it toward the front, it will be too close to the headlight assembly. As much heat as folks have stated that these generate, it would likely melt into the assembly over time. I am only hopeful that where I have them mounted are far enough away...

Love the LED's. I'm currently working on some for my '08 Silverado which has the flasher built into the BCM.

Same with mine. Before going with the resistors, I went hunting for an LED compatible flasher, and found that my truck doesn't have one, that it's built into the BCM. I confirmed in the wiring diagram from the Chilton's manual I have...
