I have a 2006 GMC Yukon Denali and I am trying to find out if the 2002 Sub box that is in the left rear compartment will fit in my 2006 Yukon.

If your Denali is a short wheelbase you’ll need one out of Tahoe, if it’s a long wheelbase you’ll need one out of a Suburban like I used. Also, I sourced a rear panel from the junkyard with holes already in speaker grill.

It will fit, but on my 2004, I needed to grind off the bolt that is part of the tools holder as it interfered. It's still there in this pic below the foil.IMG_2922.jpeg

On 2003+ it is not prewired as the OEM sub (and amp) is in/under the center console. I had to run wires for everything - the blue wire in the bottom right of my picture is power lead for an additional amp.
