Enhanced display
No max trailering but it was ordered
Black bow ties

Added were the shield kit. 2 of the three pieces
Mobil 1 oil from the start. @100 miles
Michelin defender Ltx ms tires
Weather tech rear mat behind the 2 nd row seats

she drives very nicely

Congrats, they really have done a fantastic job on the new design. Our RST has been a great road trip vehicle. I was surprised I’d like 22s but they fit well on these trucks.

Can you tell, does it have the cylinder deactivation deal working? Drop down to four cylinders with light loading.

I can’t tell. I’ll see if there’s a fuel economy info display. What I can tell is the auto start thing works too well. And that seat belt reminder is pushy. Yuk.

Our '19 shows it down in the corner of the display for mpg and averages.

The '21s will not have an icon showing cylinder deactivation. The new generation can deactivate more or less than 4 cylinders depending on programing scenarios and the engineers decided not to include an icon because of this.

From my experience I can not tell when it is happening and this comes with having two separate vehicles with the new cylinder deactivation.

Did you notice a big change with Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires? Thanks for letting me know.

We ran the Michelins on our '11 Escalade and '15 Suburban and loved them, even at around $1,500/set and we got 60-70k miles per set.

However, it is my understanding for '21 GM worked with the tire manufacturer on the compound for improved traction including pretty impressive stopping distances.

I would say I think these will give the Defenders a run for their money, check back with me in 50k to see how they have held up.

The short answer is yes. They appear quieter and hold the road a little better.
This is the first set of 22” wheels/ tires I’ve ever had. I wasn’t displeased with the Goodrich tire but I read some negative reviews on tire rack and here. 30k miles on a 300$ tire did not make me happy. A dealership bought the alenzas for 750$. And charged me 289ea for the Michelin’s. Couple that with some gm rebates and reward points and the 4 tires mounted road force balanced and installed cost me 370$
The Michelin’s I’ve had in the past. They are quiet. They hold the road well. They will last 70k miles if you do your part. I’ve driven in 24” of snow without getting stuck. I’ve never experienced a flat. I flat out trust the tire. I’ve replaced brand new tires on several Chevy Tahoe’s and suburbans with these tires.
