The fact that I have a Yukon wiring harness won't change anything right?

I bought the Eagle Eye red G4's.

I got a set of ANZO LED Taillights, and they didnt work. I called anzo, and they shipped me overnight a whole new wiring harness that connected down under the bumper and guess what, worked like a charm!!! I also got their LED 3rd brakelight... you can definitly see my brakelights

Haha. Well I was confused because some of them that I've seen, you connect the LED tails to the existing harness via the bulb plugs. This would be bad for me because the bulb sizes are different between Tahoe and Yukon, meaning the wiring on the tails I bought wouldn't fit into my harness.

Then I've seen some where they connect under the bumper, which is universal between Tahoe and Yukon. The G4's connect under the bumper so I'm good. :)

Plug and play AFTER you add a load resistor to stop the "quick flash".

-or- After you get properly-working lights from the manufacturer/seller.

Sometimes the supplied resistors are bad. Sometimes no resistors are supplied at all. And sometimes the resistors are good, but something within the light housing/wiring is bad.

I always bring this up, not to rain on anyone's parade, but to warn that these things often don't work correctly right off the bat. The buyer should be aware that there may be issues that he needs to sort out, and that fast-blinking is NOT the way these should operate.

but they should come with the resistors already in the lights from what I have read and should work right when they are installed?

Not always. Like KMeloney said, sometimes the resistors don't work properly and sometimes the light itself is defective and will cause a fast blink. I know it happened to him and it also happened to one of my G3's. Also remember that because of the way the light is wired, when you apply the brake and turn on your blinker, the tail light and headlight/mirror will blink alternately.

Those are some of the issues associated with the G3's, hopefully they have addressed these issues and fixed them with the G4's.
