I Knew i had a bad vibration but not this bad...

I thought my tires were going bad because i only got the vibration at 65 miles plus
Went in for an oil change and low and behold... just installed a used unit and its working fine but i still have vibration. I am going tomorrow to get the differentials serviced and i hope nothing else is damaged

Is that a crack across it?? That's not a service repair lol, you need the entire stub housing

I understand that...i replaced the front differential and i still have the vibration

So the crack was before you replaced the stub housing, correct?

gotcha ok....i thought that was the replaced one.
in either case, that isnt a common occurrence i would look into what would cause that to break it may also be the source of your vibration. the only weight on it is the diff itself

CV axle fuckered? I'd think a drive shaft that far out of balance would kill the pinion bearing before that happens
