Wanted to do something with the tail lights to break up all the red but really didnt want to smoke them, so i put on some GM tail lamp guards

They use the 2 mounting points for the taillights use and adhere to the outside edge, fit really well, not to bulky or gaudy, no issues with power lift gate, wasn't sure about it until they went on but i like them

Not a fan of things sticking off a truck........but it works cause the are really low profile and you have a Z.

So I think it looks good

i hear you, i was worried they would stick out like a sore thumb, but they blend in and wrap around pretty well, the 2 thinner cross bars fit nicely into the indentations of the tail light without contacting, i agree that i wouldn't like them the same without the z71 appearance

I still vote for a very very very very light smoke in addition to the guards :D

Do it.

Try having them done professionally though. Makes a big difference when they are done right and have that "shine".

They mix clear and black paint
