Thanks for all the comments. I am really enjoying this ride. Just took it from Texas to NY and back to visit family. Gas mileage was pretty awful (13-14 MPG), but I didn't buy it for the fuel economy...and it was very comfortable with the 3 of us (me, my wife & son in booster seat) piled in.

Nice! Is it the just the photo, it looks like the bull bar is far out from the bumper and the truck has the Cali lean.

Most of that is the photo angle... In my Album you can see a couple of other pics of the bull bar to see how it is mounted to the frame. It doesn't have a Cali lean...I just seem to keep taking pics of it parked on an incline.

Closest I have been your way lately is Queens when I went to see a Mets game the final year before Shea got tore down (took the wife & kid....had a great time even though the Pirates beat the Mets because they put in Heilman in the 7th). I grew up in the Adirondacks before I joined the Air Force in '89 (yeah...I'm an old guy). When I retire I am going back there. I have traveled all over the western/central/southern/upstate parts of the state, but never made the trek to Long Island. Might just have to do that the next time I come back home.

But when I was in high school (many years ago) I used to spend the summer partying with the "Lon' Giland" girls & Jersey girls who came up to the 'dacks for vacation ..Does that count?

Badass man...what's up from Austin!

Been talking all this NY stuff....But, I can't ignore a holler from Texas. I really have to find a long weekend to pack up the fam & head to Austin. When I was in the panhandle of Florida, New Orleans was my mecca because of the music scene. Now that I'm in Texas,..my new mecca is Austin...I so need to check that town out....So want to get a picture of my son next to the SRV memorial.

Tahoe looks good man! I live about 80 miles north of Abilene, usually go there once or twice a month. Have some of friends in Abilene. Are you stationed at Dyess AFB or retired?

Been in for 20 1/2 and stationed at Dyess right now... haven't retired yet...still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.
