I might have found a gem that is about 1/2 mile from my American Legion post

Corvette servo provides a MUCH quicker shift from 2-3. The standard is this kit:

Although, when I bought
Mine, it had the option to include the longer Servo pin:

Might have to get them separately now. My servo / pin had a decent amount of free movement, so also did the pin.
I originally was asking how hard the faster shift ws, but it wasn't hard at all. That's nice. Thanks, @Sam Harris and @Tonyrodz

You mean 1-2 shift?
When I was buying mine, it was marketed as 2-3 shift. And I remember that one made a huge difference. The 2-3 shift was super slow and lazy before doing it. I really didn’t notice much difference with the 1-2 shift. This one says it helps both I guess. Now that I have the BBP tune, they’re both super fast and super firm! Maybe I shouldn’t drive around in “sport mode” everywhere.. [emoji1787][emoji23]

Hmmm...this is from Oregon Performance Transmisduon, the one you linked. I was surprised to hear it’s supposed to help on the 3-4 shift since my understanding is that’s it the second gear servo and this just helped the 1-2 shift.

PRODUCT DETAILS
Sonnax 2nd gear "Corvette" ratio servo kit 77701-04K provides increased apply area resulting in improved holding power for firmer 1-2 and 3-4 shifts. The servo piston features D-rings in place of the OE seal rings for improved sealing during apply and release. This kit is compatible with Sonnax 4th gear Super Hold dual servo assembly 77767K. Features & Benefits: Upgrade used for high performance or heavy-duty towing applications. Improved D-ring sealing configuration.

My trans builder Performabuilt says it’s just to increase the second gear “apply pressure” which results in a firmer 1-2 shift.

He called me and said he would sell to me for $8000 and I went and bought it and have it home. I will post pics of it after I clean it.

The test drive was great the other day and my drive home was great. He has a Kenwood stereo in it with a remote for it. Two working key fobs and keys.

So, the quest is over and both sides happy. Time to start going thru it and making a list for this and that. Thanks all for any support given in this thread. In the end, I was just not going to find one in this good of shape anywhere within 200 miles of me.

Congrats on the new ride.
