I need help figuring something out

I need to know if anyone with a 96-97 Chevy Tahoe 4-door has a fuel pump plug that looks like this picture.

Also would like to know if the top of a 96-97 pump looks like this.

I just called a Chevy dealer and they told me the 1996 fuel pump module with sending unit has the same plug as the 1995 model. PSI difference only but otherwise the same in case anyone wants to do an LSX engine swap without reusing the 1995 sending unit.

I bought a new fuel pump for a 1996 4 door Tahoe, and the plug was different than the factory plug but it came with a new harness which I had to splice into my factory harness. Color codes were the same.

square connector piced had issues messing up pump module operation so redesigned with inline one. use the redesigned delphi or delco pump module. has other improvements too.

That's good to know. I rewired with the new plug and it works great. I hope it lasts more than a year.
