I need help with my 04 Tahoe

I have a 04 Chevy tahoe Z71 and its all wheel drive. When I turn the wheel left or right it act like its in 4 low it try to push the front wheels and bind up. It will go into 4 low and goes back to 4 high. it act like the front end is not unlockin. Can any one help

If you read your owner's manual, you do NOT ever use 4WD (HI or LOW) in dry pavement! You will damage the system.
