yeah that set up will run low 14s done about 5 swaps like that. nice motor for a lighter car but for that truck need a lot more motor for weight. on the whipple set up it will run mid 12s been there done that. 80e takes more power and 4.10s help alot only 200 rpm increase at 65 from 3.73.

btw its 28 not 27 lol.

I have never run it on a track for a street truck around here im killing everyone lol, I got the motor cheap it was a display in the parts department. The dealership was closing they where giving a lot of parts at 50% off couldn't pass it up. I got injectors, computer, pulleys, it was like going to goodguys.

you must be racing slow people zz 383 is 395/410 at wheels on a 4l80e which sucks even more power is going to be in the high 290 rang. with afr heads the 3 we ended up doing that on made about 330 at the wheels.

290 rwhp on a 5000 lb truck with the horrible 1st gear on teh 80e is mid to high 14s.

I have a trailblazer ss from san jose that would love to line up against you if your killing everyone then might as well race someone that is about the same as you and not racing slow ass imports lol

or you can race me ill give you a 10 truck head start.

A 2WD tbss weighs the same (20 pounds more) than a 4 door tahoe 95-99 2wd.

awd tbss weighs about 180 more than your same truck. Ill shoot this message to drew im sure he would love to run against you. Ill bring my truck also and film :) should be a good race.

Just tell me where you are "killing everyone" on the street and we can meet you there.

O boy,

back on topic

I got shackles, from a local friend. Went underneath today to start spraying PB on the the bolts for about 2 days prior to installtion so its easy to remove. Low and behold prior owner installed Bell-tech shackles and its on the last bolt. So its good LOL.

How do I know if he installed Drop hangers?

doesnt look then like a 4"inch drop in the rear. the most you can get out of shackles is 2inch..

Do the shackles have grease fittings on em?

Shackles say Bell-tech and Have those holes where you want to insert the bolt, like 4-5 of them. Its on the very top bolt. Farthest away from the ground.

There is no zerk on the Bell Tech Shackles.
