I never thought the Escalade was worth the premium over a Denali...

I agree and am leaning that way at the moment... There are just sooo many more features, refinements, and upgrades that come with the Esc for the price. Especially if the Denali has an upcharge for the Duramax (Which the Esc does NOT...). If you can spend 83 then more than likely you can spend 93 and get a lot more vehicle. Another point that goes along with this is 1 more year of complete bumper to bumper warranty, PU and delivery service to your home for any service needs, and a decent loaner vehicle for as long as they need to keep yours. None of which you get on the Denali...

I would slightly disagree. Now I can see where that perspective comes from but the reason we bought our '11 Escalade over the Denali was because of the differences. Mainly the dash is quite different, there's more leather covered interior pieces and I like the look of the Escalade much more than the Denali of that generation. Also ours has dark brown seats and floor which only come in the Platinum trim. And much less wood grain which I like lol

Now was it worth the extra price? Well in the used market most definitely because there almost no difference price wise with the Denali.

Now with new cars that's certainly debatable but I'm glad to see the Escalade separating itself more from the others and being more unique to Cadillac

Finally distinguished enough to warrant the price difference. The stereo, standard air suspension, and the displays would have been enough to warrant the price, but there are further differentiation that definitely place it in a class above even the Denali.

It is a sweet ride, but would have been solid 15k more sticker over my White high country from what I just built online. air ride , MRC, Adaptive Cruise, and the advanced trailing features are not even available on the base luxury package. You have to step up to premium luxury and add the Perf and drive assistance. Gets to 97k real quick and that is bit more than I wanted to spend.
