I have an Automate auto start system and yesterday I fumbled to grab my keys, the truck beeped twice and my tire pressure warning had been reset.

Has anyone else experienced something like this and if so, how did I do it?

You didnt reset your ECU. You probably held down the lock and unlock buttons accidentally which puts the TPMS in "Learn mode" to let the TMPS know which sensor is in which tire.

Normally if you rotated your tires or swapped out a TPMS sensor you'd do this.

1. KOEO hold down both LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the key fob until you hear the horn honk twice.

2. Start at the driver's front tire and increase or decrease tire pressure until horn honks.

3. Move to the passenger front tire and increase or decrease tire pressure until horn honks.

4. Move to the passenger rear tire and increase or decrease tire pressure until horn honks.

5. Finish at the driver's rear tire and increase or decrease tire pressure until horn honks TWICE.

The TPMS relearn is complete.

The increasing/decreasing of pressure "wakes" the TPMS sensor in the wheel and it sends out a frequency of 315 MHz. The TPMS sees this and assigns that sensor to the location. Thats why you must do the sequence in the correct order.

Hope that helps.
