okay so my truck has been a garage queen for 3 or 4 months now getting the front end rebuilt (hubs,idler,pitman,ball joints,cv axles,ect...) and also new grille headlights tail lights blah blah blah alot of shit , anyways to the point i bought and installed a USspeedo stainless steel gauge face with a red afterglow on my truck this was 2 months ago i didnt drive it(it was tore apart in my dads garage) just made sure most of the gauges read right an the rpms went up just for a quick ops check . well i drove the truck today to relize my speedometer is 20 slow it doesnt read speed till im aaround or above 20? what did i do? i wanna take it out anyways it doesnt look as good as i thought it would plus im goin LED

i think it might be a problem with where you have the needle put onto the shaft for the speedo. i haven't taken a cluster apart in my yuk yet, but you may have to pull the needle and reset it for a known speed and see if it "rezeroes." just a thought. or run through the instructions like sunlit said.

yea but how would i re zero it just turn it with my hand with the dash out? and someone told me i might have the needles to tight is this possible?
