hey everyone..i have a 97 tahoe 4x4...i have 22's on it and i wanna leave the 22's but i wanna put some nitto mud or trail grappler m/t's or something like that..now ive always been into the lowering look so this is new...i live in the bronx,ny so its not like im goin off roadin or anything..its just for looks..what would be the cheapest and easy way to get this truck up??? thanks in advance


i want tires like this







i want like this height..maybe a little lower




this is my truck now..i wanna use my same rims just with bigger tires

haha yep. Thats a F-250 so add about 2" on top of what lift it has. It looks to be around 8"s. Maybe more. The cheapest lift to do is about 2" to 3" and is around 100. You can do aftermarket ebay keys and blocks. With that on top of a body lift should be a good size for your truck. Youll get a solid 5"s

You probably don't want to be cranking anything or doing blocks, if you live in the bronx. The streets have a shit ton of pot holes and they suck. The ride will be WAY to rough.
Get a Dick Cepek stage I lift. That's a true 6.5" suspension lift. Your looking at $3000.00 if you do everything correctly though, lift, tires, driveshaft, gears, etc.

if u want it like the ford then sas it :p

your going to have to get apretty big lift to make it match that truck and i dont really like the ifs lifts over 6" but thats just me. im going to do a 6" rcx lift on my tahoe

ok ..thanks everyone..like i said im new to this lifted thing...if u want me to build a lowrider with pumps im your guy but lifted no idea..thats why i wanna try this...does anyone have any pics of what a 6inch lift would look like , preferably with 22's with mud tires...

found this one on this forum...i like this look..but do u think 22's with some mud tires will fit on this lift??

I know 20's would work. Not sure about 22's on mud shoes. Its gonna look nice though!

the reason why i want to do it on 22's is cause i already have 22's ...plus i think it would look nice..its not like im doing off-roading or anything...its just for looks

i have a 6 inch lift on my 2 dr and i have 22s as well i havnt put tires on it yet i have my current low pros looks HELLA weird but i will have bigger tires soon im gunna be running 37/13.5/22s not the tires u choose i went with something else and in a few weeks ill have some fresh runnber wrapped around my duces
but here some pics to go off of
i was told with 38s u need to have a 6inch lift and 3 body lift i dont have the body lift yet and idk if i wanna put a BL on
