changing tranny fluid and flushing are different.

True, but only because dropping the pan and changing the filter only gets the fluid in the pan. Flushing pushes ALL the old fluid out, everything in the lines, torque converter, everything. In either case you are adding new detergent to your tranny which is like washing your car with a fresh new bucket of soap n water vs. using the same old bucket of water you used last month.That new detergent will be clean and have no friction causing particles in it like the old fluid does. Im no tranny expert, but thats how I have been told it works.
