If anyone needs a heater dash control panel

I have found 5 of them at my local pull a part. Open tomorrow so I am driving up there to buy all of them. All are for 96+ and only are $13.12 per. She said they all work. We will see! If you need one let me know. I am also picking up head and tail lights and a few other things like a GMC front grill and an extra jack.

Actually, I just might. I just discovered that no matter where I tell my air to come out of, it ALWAYS comes out of the upper vents and never the bottom or defrost. Is that controlled by vacuum or what?

Vent output location is electronic control, IIRC.

The mode control actuator is electrically controlled servo motor located just above and to the right of the accelerator pedal.

Thnx for the heads-up on this. I'm good right now though.... I replaced the fan control switch w/OEM switch on mine 2 months ago, and it's all good.

The mode control actuator I think is bad in mine. I got the heat to finally work. I installed one of the dash control panels I got this morning. So now the knob for speed works. The heat and cool part work, however engaging different selector switch from face to foot/face are not working it is stuck on foot only.

If ya' have a voltmeter, tag onto the wires going to the actuator to see if you see any change in voltage when you move the selector switch.
Just in case it's a voltage supply problem, you won't spend money on the actuator if ya' don't really need it.

Could it likely just be another faulty one? I got it at a junkyard and they said it worked but none of those jackholes are mechanics at this one. My GF is pissed because the place tat had a bunch of them they sold two and the other two had no AC. So we went to another spot bought this one for 65.00 and they wont take returns only credit. WTF I want credit for a part that doesnt work?

She said just order from the dealer but I really do not want to drop 300.00 on one stupid part.

Yeah we found it for 106.00 on there might bite the bullet and get it.
